SURJ is accepting articles for our 2019 issue!  The deadline for submissions is January 15th, 2019.

SURJ is an interdisciplinary journal published annually that seeks to provoke curiosity and intellectual exploration across both the Stanford community and leading institutions worldwide.  Papers should be 2000-4000 words in length and written for a well-educated general audience, with an abstract (150-200 words).  Authors must also submit an agreement form. All articles are peer-reviewed and as we are on an OJS publishing platform, and will be listed in many scholarly databases (e.g. Google Scholar).

Read the SURJ Submission Guidelines 2018-19 to learn how to properly format your submission. Please note that submitted papers do not necessarily need to conform to every guideline, but whether the articles can realistically be made to adhere to them is a factor in acceptance.

Submit your papers at this submission portal Be sure to include your paper, author agreement, and if used, any image files or original data files. See Submission Guidelines for more information. Your submission will not be considered if it does not have these components. Be aware that submissions must be of work done in the course of undergraduate study.
